I am an information and user experience specialist with extensive experience working in higher education, user research, data analysis, workflow / process optimization, and web design. I leverage information and communication technologies to craft tailored solutions for your needs, ensuring intuitive navigation and optimizing user flows for diverse stakeholders groups. My passion is in empowering organizations to make evidence-based decisions through purposeful data collection and analysis.
I attained my Master of Information (Library & Information Science) degree with a secondary focus in User Experience Design at the University of Toronto in April 2020, where I pursued my interest in digital information behaviours and ethnographic research with seven information architecture and user experience projects at four libraries across Canada's largest academic library system.
Presently, I am a part of the Systems & Data Team, Student Success, Division of Student Life at the University of Toronto, where I am serving in a systems administrator, data management and governance role supporting the tri-campus, university-wide, enterprise-level student experience CRM platforms CLNx (Orbis Outcome) and Folio (Symplicity UniHub / CareerHub).

In this role, I work closely with the Communications team to liaise with the graduate centres and business units across the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) to ensure that all SGS-branded websites and content pages are designed in a user-friendly, interactive, and visually appealing way, while maintaining its adherance to AODA and WCAG 2.1 AA+ guidelines.

Using SQL, Excel, SharePoint, PowerBI, and Canvas LMS, I drove several projects at the University of Toronto to transition internal files into shared cloud repositories for centralized information managemen, and to facilitate data collection and analysis.
I work with organization to improve their website's SEO, accessiblie design, and navigability. For insight into my methodology, please view the two website usability studies I conducted with the University of Toronto Scarborough Library, using Optimal Workshop, an online suiite of usability testing tools.
I have served in various administrative support roles at the University of Toronto. This multi-faceted experience has allowed me to effectively identify gaps or inefficiencies with workflows, and develop and propose solutions.
An easy way to enhance the usability of your website or service is having a good understanding of user flows, with a UI / UX design that goes along with it. I work with organizations to increase customer retention and get new clients through improving their digital marketing and design.

As part of an ongoing user experience usability study, I designed a digital tree-testing study for the website for The BRIDGE, a multi-purpose academic space for business, finance, and entrepreneurship.
The BRIDGE, UTSC — January—June 2020During the winter 2020 term, my team and I partnered with one of UTL's central libraries to evaluate a user experience research study evaluating its existing space and services. At its conclusion, we identified 11 recommendations for the library.
Noranda Earth Sciences Library — January—April 2020As Phase 3 of an ongoing user experience strategic program at University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) Library, I designed and conducted a digital hybrid card-sorting study in collaboration with the Web & UX Librarian with 73 participants.
Vincent W. Bladen (UTSC) Library — January—April 2020In collaboration with the Web & UX Librarian, I co-developed and co-led a one hour workshop and design challenge with 6 participants at the UTSC Library Makerspace.
University of Toronto Entrepreneurship Week — 12 March 2020Using floor plans, sharpie pens, and sticky notes, I organized a weekly UX Pop-Up Table to gather feedback and suggestions about UTSC Library.
